Unique Mobility agrees sponsorship deal with world cup winning darts player

'Snowy' Dyson is ranked as the No1 disabled darts player in Britain, and long standing Unique Mobility customer.

Over the years, Team Unique and Plymouth based Snowy have developed a long standing relationship, and, on a recent visit, Snowy highlighted the need for a sponsor to help him compete throughout the country... and the world! Company Director, Ian Bellamy, Stepped in to provide that support.

Company Director, Ian Says;

'Snowy has been a delight to work with over the years, he has supported us in Plymouth during our early days and has been there ever since. We're now in a position to offer Snowy some support to help him maintain his seat as the No1 disabled darts player'

Snowy will act as a brand ambassador for Unique Mobility whilst he travels the world playing Darts. During a recent meeting, Snowy highlighted the difficulties in obtaining a sponsorship;

'I had been in touch with over 100 major UK companies looking for a sponsorship to help me with my dream of competing for England, I was turned down on every occasion - and even told that if I was the No1 ranked, able-bodied darts player, I'd have a sponsor instantly. I'm delighted that Unique Mobility see my potential, and together, we will achieve great things'

On a recent visit to Belgium, Snowy hit the winning double during the first Disabled darts world cup. More details of how the world cup unfolded can be found here

Snowy is actively playing darts all over Plymouth - he trains with a variety of disabled players, some who are completely new to the sport. If you are interested in playing, you can find Snowy's facebook page here.
