The Nitrum is QUICKIE's most energy efficient chair yet thanks to it's combined weight rigidity, custom fit and fine tuning. The Nitrum ideal for users who value lightweight design and pushing efficiency. The revolutionary design minimises propulsion effort whilst maximising movement.
The Nitrum's oval profile tubing adds strength compared to round profile. It is also lighter as the shape uses less material. Specially heat-treated using patented ShapeLoc technology and sculpted from high-strength 7020 Aluminium, the tubing is significantly thinner and lighter without any sacrifice to its strength.
The NITRUM is hand-welded into one-complete frame, providing a stiffer, lighter ride. The forged aluminium backrest bracket is extremely stiff, so it's significantly more energy efficient without sacrificing the adjustability of the backrest angle or height.
The patented Twist-Lock backrest enables a single handed folding and unfolding which makes folding for transport easy.
